These assembly models were created using ProEngineer software, all consisting of more than one component, to then be compiled into one assembly with a basic render applied.
This graphics project was to create an interactive program in Adobe Flash on a subject of our choice. The board show illustrates the way I mounted and presented to CD containing the program.

DINKY - Dual Income No Kids Yet, a project to design a kitchen product for a targeted demographics. The image illustrates three pages from my research.
This Graphics project illustrates different ways of achieving form in a 2D format, exploring the use of pixels and muscle fibres to show countors. The images show the cyclist Lance Armstrong taking an aerodynamic position on the bike.
A hand turned artefact from recycled Beech wood to demonstrate hand skills. This reminds me of my days at Brymore School where I used to do alot of woodwork in my spare time.
Again, workshop modelling from Level 1 at Brunel making a replica computer mouse that is fine finished and sprayed.
Working with the client Marks and Spencer, we were asked as Brunel Design Level 1 students to present an idea for an environmentally friendly range, Plan A. My idea acts to displace water in a bath so that less water is needed, also enhancing comfort.
During Level 1 at Brunel, we are given the opportunity to design and make our own clock, in just four days. I chose to integrate some of my favourite colours into the design whilst also experimenting with new manufacturing techniques through layering and introducing heat to thermoplastics. The large black shape consists of a clear layer sandwiched between two black layers.
An often humored concept shared between Brunel Graduates when attending interviews is the brass Trammel set as made in Level 1, intended to sharpen engineering manufacturing skills. This hand polished set fits inside a hand crafted display container, made from recycled beech wood.
Still to this day, nobody outside of Brunel understands what a Trammel set is for, but nonetheless looks pretty.
One of the first projects at Brunel for Level 1 design students is the initals project, to model your own initials from blue foam. Blue foam in often used for 3D visualisation of work. This model can be still be seen in the Design Exhibition Centre in Tower A at Brunel.
