Back to Brunel | Drawing Workshops
After a fantastic year studying abroad in San Francisco, it is that time of year again to start a fresh year at Brunel University. It will be great to apple some new skills learnt in America. What better way than to help teach and share these ideas?
During both semesters in San Francisco, we were heavily involved in Rapid Visualization classes, both participating students and later, assistants to the professors. We lucky enough to be tutoring first year design students in a drawing workshop that draws inspiration from what we have learnt during this process.
Classes run once a week and will be made enjoyable!

Working with Initials.
In a Computer Graphic Imaging class at San Francisco State University, our initials were made into a Logotype - firstly by using a paint brush and large paper to iterate ideas on a large scale, this encouraged smooth strokes. These were then drawn in Adobe Illustrator using the pen tool and prepared for print.

Creative State.
As part of a creative marketing internship at San Francisco Sate University, these advertisements were created that incorporate an existing identity - Creative State. The first being a small printed advertisement for the University press magazine and in poster format. Throughout this process I have learnt how to work with existing identities that have strict use and application of graphic assets.
